3. QUOTES & ESTIMATES
Unless otherwise stated, quotations provided by Moncrieff Cabinet Making remain valid for 30 days from the date they are issued.
Pricing is based on the information available at the time the quotation is prepared.
Changes to measurements, plans, materials, finishes, project scope or site conditions may result in revised pricing.
A quotation does not become binding until it has been accepted by both parties. Acceptance may also be subject to any additional terms contained within the quotation or project agreement.
4. CUSTOM CABINETRY
Every project completed by Moncrieff Cabinet Making is custom manufactured.
Natural variations may occur in timber grain, timber colour, stone veining, engineered stone patterns, laminate finishes and paint colours.
Product samples, photographs and display materials are intended as a guide only and may not exactly match the finished product.
These natural variations are not considered manufacturing defects.
5. SITE MEASUREMENTS & INSTALLATION
Where applicable, customers are responsible for ensuring that reasonable site access is available and that the installation area is safe and ready for installation.
Required building works, plumbing rough-ins, electrical rough-ins and any other prerequisite works should be completed before installation where applicable.
Unexpected site conditions or circumstances beyond our reasonable control may require installation dates, project schedules or pricing to be adjusted.
6. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Customers agree to provide accurate and complete information relating to their project, including measurements, building plans, design preferences, product selections and contact details.
Delays or additional costs resulting from inaccurate, incomplete or changed information may affect project timeframes and pricing.
7. PAYMENTS
Payment terms will be outlined within each quotation or project agreement.
Failure to make payments by the agreed dates may delay manufacturing, delivery or installation.
Any deposits paid are subject to the payment terms outlined within the relevant quotation or project agreement.
Ownership of products supplied remains with Moncrieff Cabinet Making until payment has been received in full, where permitted by law.
8. DELAYS BEYOND OUR CONTROL
While we aim to complete every project within agreed timeframes, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
These circumstances may include supplier shortages, material availability, severe weather, construction delays, customer-requested design changes or other unforeseen events.
Where practical, we will make reasonable efforts to keep customers informed of any significant delays affecting their project.
9. AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
Nothing contained within these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation.
Where permitted by law, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by that legislation.
10. WARRANTY
Moncrieff Cabinet Making is committed to providing quality workmanship and materials.
Manufacturer warranties relating to products such as hinges, drawer runners, hardware, appliances and other supplied components remain with their respective manufacturers.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or guarantees available under Australian Consumer Law.
11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all cabinet designs, drawings, plans, renders, photography, website content, graphics, logos and other materials created by Moncrieff Cabinet Making remain our intellectual property.
These materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or used without our prior written permission.
